Manola Sanchez Aragu

Specialties: Marketing, branding, communication, strategy and leadership, lecturing and consulting. She is the founding member of IIBM and a graduate of the University of South Africa (UNISA). She is well versed in strategic marketing, acquired from working in the marketing field in South Africa for more than 25 years. She has served in executive marketing capacities in leading South African and global brands in business and executive education. Her professional experience includes Marketing and Communications with the UNISA School of Business Leadership; and Wits Business School.

She served as the Director in both institutions. Manola has first hand experience of managing global/international brands. She has years of marketing experience and a strong network in the South African business landscape. Although her career has been focused in the business and leadership education sub-sector of the tertiary industry, her experience is considerably broader and includes the diplomatic field and the travel industry. She was appointed as a part-time tutor on the UNISA MBA programme, on its Marketing and Knowledge Management modules.

She teaches leadership, strategy, customer service and branding. She has consulted extensively, and has developed leadership programmes. She is often asked to speak on Marketing leadership and women empowerment.She is driven by absolute commitment and ultimate professionalism in the business and leadership education market in South Africa.


Julian de la Hunt

Holds a Bcom (Honours) in Human Resources / Industrial Psychology from University of Pretoria (1999 – 2005) and registered through the HPCSA. Julian furthermore holds 3 Business school certifications through the Gordon Institute of Business Science and has been operating at Executive level in a Human Resources capacity for the past 5 years. He is the South African partner for “i2i – the Catalyst to positive change” and is an expert in personal mastery, team building and inspiring and delivering positive change.

He has held various senior Human Resources positions with Standard Bank, Kumba Resources, Basil Read, TWP Projects and WorleyParsons and has consulted to large firms on OD, Reward & Remuneration management, Performance management, Talent management and Industrial relations.







Bongani Aug Khumalo

Professor Khumalo is the chief executive of Gidani Proprietary Limited and Chairman of Bongani Rainmaker Logistics and Gravitas Group. He is a patron of the South African Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS (SABCOHA) and Professor Extraordinaire and Chairman of the Africa Centre for HIV/AIDS Management (University of Stellenbosch). He is also a member of the Board of Afrika Tikkun and a scholar in economic and management sciences. Prof Khumalo also served on the Boards of Anglo Platinum and the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) as an independent non-executive director.

He is also past Chairman of Transnet Limited, and former Deputy Chief Executive of Eskom. In the year 2000 to 2001 Khumalo served as a Presidential Advisor on HIV/AIDS and Rural Development reporting to the Chairperson of the South African National AIDS Council [SANAC] at the time, Deputy President J G Zuma [now Incumbent President of the Republic of South Africa]. Prof Khumalo was previously the Chairman of the School of Business Leadership (SBL) at University of South Africa (Unisa).




Mark Peters

Director of Executive Education

Lecturer’s Profile

Specialties: Strategy, Sales, CRM, competitor intelligence, course, development, customization of management programmes and lecturing. He graduated from Brunel and Henley Management College in the UK, and has 23 years of profession experience in the classroom, in management and at executive level, in business education in South Africa and abroad.

He served as the Director: Corporate Education at Wits Business School. In 1996, he was appointed Programme Director of Educor’s Graduate Institute of Management and Technology. He was appointed Managing Director of Educor’s Graduate Institute of Management and Technology in 1997; as Managing Director he served on the board of the JSE-listed Educor. He was Henley Management College’s lead Tutor in Marketing between 1998 and 2001 and served as Director of the College in 2000.

In 2002 became the Director of Marketing at Wits Business School as well as a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Strategy. Mark is highly respected in the South African Corporate landscape and is recognised as the expert in customised programmes and in setting up Corporate Academies in South potential employees or develop existing staff.




Prof PD Rwelamila, PhD, Pr.CPM, FCIOB

Specialization areas are project management, project delivery systems, influence of culture on project management, and construction industry development. His research interests are appropriate project delivery systems, best practices in construction industry development, public private partnerships (PPPs) in infrastructure development, construction industry policy, culture in organisations, TQM and project dispute resolution methods. He is the second most cited academic in the world in Project Management, is currently a Professor of Project Management at the Graduate School of Business Leadership (GSBL), University of South Africa (UNISA).

He was the past President of The South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) (2005-2009). He is the joint coordinator: International Council for Research & Innovation in Building & Construction (CIB) – W107: Construction in developing countries. He is the Chairperson & non executive Director of MSINGI Construction Project Management (Pty) Ltd, a Construction project management consulting firm based in Cape Town, South Africa, as well as a non executive Director and joint owner of XPQ Consulting Services (Pty) Ltd, a project management consulting firm based in Pretoria, South Africa. He is currently a member on the research advisory panel of the CSIR Built Environment Division on Infrastructure Design & Construction (current).

Prof Rwelamila was appointed a member (by the Minister of Public Works) to the statutory South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) and Council for the Built Environment (CBE) – (2002 -2005) & SACPCMP (2006 -2009). He was also a former Vice President (Education) of CIOB – Southern Africa 2000-2005).
